So, you've already
interviewed dozens of Entertainers, selected the one you felt most
comfortable with, and sealed your date with a legal contract and
retainer fee. Your on your way to an excellent evening filled with
Formalities, Dancing and other exciting activities, when the venue
manager asks you the biggest question of all...
"The entertainer you have performing is Insured, am I correct?"
More than 70% of venues (Banquet Halls) across the United
States are requiring that every vendor who steps through their doors,
carry some type of Insurance, including Entertainers. Some venues even
require a specific type of insurance with a Specific amount of Insurance
coverage. Consult with the venue manager for the details. If your
entertainer is not insured, you will either have to find a new
Entertainer or find a new venue...both of which are not easy tasks.
The
most common type of Insurance is Liability
Coverage that not only covers the venue, if the entertainers equipment
causes interior and/or exterior damage, but it also protects your
guests. In the event that the entertainer forgot to tape down a cable
that your aunt Rosie trips over and goes to the hospital....the
entertainer is fully responsible. Not the venue or caterer and
definitely not you. Choosing an Entertainer who is Fully Insured from
the start, will save you time, money and you will not have to battle in
court if any accidents do occur. Accidents can not be predicted, they
happen.
Thompson Entertainment is Fully
Insured by the Renowned "Travelers Insurance" (as seen on Television).
We care about the safety of your guests, as well as treating the venue,
as if it was our own. That is why we are respected by many Venues across
Ohio. To date, we have processed no claims of Accidents, Injuries or
Damages.
You can Download our Insurance
Certificate Below. This Certificate is recognized by 99% of Venues
across the United States. You may be required to show proof to the
venue, that your Entertainer is Insured. If the file below is
non-functional, contact our office and we will gladly email, mail or fax
the Certificate to you and/or directly to the Venue.
