Thompson Entertainment was Founded in 1995 as Madd Music D.J. Service. Prior to launching Madd Music D.J. Service, Larry Thompson Jr. idolized North Canton, Ohio based 95.9 W.N.P.Q. radio personality "J.R. Richards" during the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" era. Mr. Richards provided support for Larry to become a Professional Mobile Entertainer. Today, Thompson Entertainment is a company, not only dedicated to all of their customers but also dedicated to all 9 members of their staff.

In addition, employees are required to undergo extensive background investigations and a complete 5 step drug screening.

Thompson Entertainment is a Canton, Ohio based Professional Mobile Disc Jockey and Karaoke service that specializes in: Weddings, Graduations and Birthday Parties and who travels to venues within 150 miles from their office. While Thompson Entertainment specializes in certain types of events, we are not limited to performing at these types of events. Our Disc Jockeys are available for any event that requires professional sound.

For Event Bookings, Thompson Entertainment requires a $100.00 Retainer Fee (Down Payment) and also requires a Signed Event Booking Agreement (View Sample). Account balances are due within 2 weeks of the Scheduled Event Date. Thompson Entertainment never charges for the Setup or Teardown times. Our customers pay for the time, that they are receiving entertainment. 27,000 songs are available at your fingertips at your upcoming event.
